What information we collect

- Information we need to give you advice and arrange a mortgage or insurance, such as your income, employment, outgoings, credit history, property details and identity documents.
- For protection insurance, information about your health and lifestyle. This is special category data and we only collect it with your explicit consent.

How we use it and our legal reasons
- To respond to your enquiry and give you advice — to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, and to perform that contract.
- To meet our legal and regulatory duties — including FCA record-keeping, anti-money laundering and identity checks.

Who we share it with
Only where needed to provide our service or meet our obligations: mortgage lenders, insurers and product providers; credit reference and fraud prevention agencies (usually through lenders); solicitors and estate agents involved in your case with your agreement; our compliance and IT service providers; and regulators or law enforcement where the law requires. We never sell your information.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to provide our service and for as long as the law and our regulators require us to keep records, after which it is securely deleted.
Your rights
You have the right to ask for a copy of your information (free of charge), to have it corrected, to have it deleted or restricted in some circumstances, to object to how we use it, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. Transfers outside the UK
